We had an incredible day at Lahainaluna High School, rich in history and spirit. Following the Hawaiian moon calendar, we chose an ideal planting day with overcast skies and a cool breeze.
With around 40 enthusiastic volunteers, we planted 108 trees and plants. Each plant is now supported by irrigation, giving this young forest the best possible start.
Lahainaluna, one of the oldest schools in the U.S., holds a unique place in Hawaiʻi’s history. We’re honored to contribute to its legacy, helping to restore the local ecology, welcome back the rains, and strengthen our cherished community.
Mahalo nui loa to everyone who joined us in the spirit of Aloha to make this day a success. We’re grateful to each of you for your commitment to nurturing a brighter, greener future. 🌱🌧️🌺
